The Layoff Depictor by Arthur Stanley (hardcopy)
When handicapping a horse off of a layoff, certain critical questions must first be answered even before even attempting to handicap them:
1.What constitutes a layoff? Is it better to play horses off of short layoffs of around 60 days or horses who have been off for many months, say six months to a year or more?
2.Which return race back, the first, second, third, or more offers the best wagering opportunity for an off-the-layoff victory?
3.What precisely does the typical live “off of the shelf” winner look like and how do we identify it?
Arthur, after reviewing thousands of pertinent race results, has clearly determined the answers to these questions, and to many others. Relevent questions like:
“Why is a horse is laid off in the first place”?
“What happens between races during the comeback trail”?
‘”What are the unmistaken clear signals of a “ready” horse’s return to the winner’s circle”?
Arthur had Gambler’s Emporium statistician Paul Freas examine the results of thousands of “layoff return” races, classifying them “first race off of the layoff” up to “fourth race off of the layoff”.
After the horse’s individual rehab was completed, Arthur discovered a small but exact “window for victory”. This “window” always opened with the running of one particular race back. A pathway clearly defined by a simple subset of eight “common sense” handicapping factors, easily found in the past performances, that consistently point to a peak performance in a “certain” race coming off the bench.
The DEPICTOR identifies, defines, and substantiates eight sensible major factors (there are more). The good news is:
ONLY ONE IS REQUIRED TO PRODUCE A WINNING SELECTION!
Developed as a result of thousands of races, these factors ultimately are the beacon that points to layoff victory. Players only have to adhere to ONE of them for potential success, however, the more found the better!
Any combination of these elements, if present in the “defined” race back from the layoff, consistently has produced great value. This occurs because the public, citing the requirement for a layoff, invariably will dismiss these types. Accordingly, this dismissal in turn results in prime opportunities for big overlays. The sample races included prove it time and again. These winners are not chalks!
Over 30 recent examples clearly validate the strength of the eight key factors. Only six recent Saturdays of racing at four major tracks have produced over 30 winners with many other “qualified” chalk victories not even shown!
You won’t need a computer or data base, only a Racing Form and one minute per horse! Simulcasting guarantees many plays per day.
Note: The LAYOFF DEPICTOR is a powerful and effective way to identify “live” horses ready to peak. Because of this fact, if they are not winners, they have proven to be extremely strong plays, under similar circumstances, in their NEXT OUTING!
